Safety First – In and Outside the Gym 💪🏼

At CrossFit Trussville, safety is one of our core values, whether it’s in the gym, during a workout, or coaching our athletes. That’s why we’re especially proud to see Coach Steven Sawyer being recognized for his dedication to safety outside the gym as well! 🏆

Coach Steven was recently featured on the cover of Alabama Construction News, where he was awarded Safety Director of the Year for his outstanding work at Brasfield & Gorrie, where he's been making an impact for 25 years. His commitment to ensuring the well-being of others is just as strong in his professional career as it is when he’s leading our ReBoot classes or training our athletes.

Safety is a priority in every aspect of life, and Coach Steven exemplifies that commitment, both as a coach and a safety leader in his field. Seeing him receive this recognition highlights how much he embodies the values we hold dear at CrossFit Trussville—not just in the gym, but everywhere he goes.
