Meet Courtney: Our July Athlete of the Month!
Courtney has been a cherished member of the CFT family since 2020!!! We are incredibly proud of her dedication, drive, and commitment to her workout routine. Check out her inspiring story! 👇🏼
“I started ReBoot in August of 2020 because I wanted to get in shape for my wedding the following April. I have done HIIT classes before and knew that coach-led, group classes motivated me the most. I instantly fell in love with the coaches and the community!”
At CrossFit Trussville, we believe in celebrating our members’ personal successes and highlighting their stories. Our Athlete of the Month (AOM) feature is a way to recognize those who exemplify dedication, hard work, and the spirit of our community. It’s important for us to share these stories to inspire others and show what’s possible with commitment and support.
Courtney’s journey didn’t stop there. She continued to show incredible commitment throughout her pregnancy, working out with the support and modifications from our coaches. "I was able to work out throughout my whole pregnancy with the support and modifications from the coaches! I was then able to bring my daughter to the gym with me every day for the first 15 months of her life while the coaches helped entertain her and relieve my anxiety while I got in my workout!"
Her dedication and strength have only grown. "I am pushed and motivated daily by the coaches and fellow gym members to pick up the heavier weight and do the RX plus option! I feel the strongest I ever have! I actually look forward to going to the gym every day knowing that I have a great community and coaches that support me!"
Outside of the gym, Courtney enjoys a rich life with her family. "I love reading and vacationing with my husband and daughter outside of the gym. You can also catch us at the pool most weekends!”
